Eveldean Clay Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eveldean Clay of Laneville, Texas, born in Reklaw, Texas, who passed away on June 21, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stebert House and Alma House (Woodard); and her brother Bobby M. House. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Caity and Matt; her husband Jesse Clay of Laneville; her children, Mark Clay of Tyler, Janet Staples of Kyle and Sheila Dunphy of Dallas; her sister Evelyn Irby of Rusk; and her grandchildren, Caitlyn Dunphy, Matthew Dunphy, Clay Staples and Shelby Staples. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

In 2008 she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, which slowly robbed her of the ability to care for herself.
