She was predeceased by : her parents, Reymundo Villarreal and Trinidad Villarreal; and her son Rosendo Salazar Jr. (Alma). She is survived by : her husband Rosendo Salazar; and her children, Martina Gutierrez (Edmundo), San Juanita Salazar (Ruben), Rosa Aguero (Sergio), Linda Rendon, Guadalupe Gamino, Elida Jacline Salazar, Jesus Salazar, Antonia Salazar, Angelita Medina (Chris), Patricia Salazar and Teresa Maldonado (Beto). She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, more than 30 great-grandchildren, siblings, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A rosary was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
