She was predeceased by: her husband Hector Ignacio Montemayor Sr.; her son Miguel Angel; her parents, Juan Alvarez and Nicolas Alvarez; and her siblings, Sebastian, Jesus and Hilaria.
She is survived by: her children, Hector Jr. (Yolanda), Oscar, Hilda (Robert Sr.), Jose (Francisca), Norma and Sara; her sisters, Tia Tomasa and Tia Maria; her grandchildren, Claudia (Joe), Robert Jr. "Tito", Erika (Timothy), Lizzy, Rachel (Rick), Rebecca "Becky" (Herman), Roxy, Carlos, Armando, Jose, Hector, Christian (Itzamara) and Miguel "Mikey"; and her caregivers, Mari Narvaez and Norma Roycroft.
Alzheimer's disease that consumed her for 16 years.
