He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolfo Sandoval and Maria Violeta Sandoval; his wife Blanca Diamantina Sandoval; his sister Maria Lourdes Polega; and his son-in-law Manuel Reyes.
He is survived by: his children, Virna Sandoval Carrillo (Rene Gonzalez), Gabriela Sandoval Reyes and Daniel I. Sandoval (Joanne Sandoval); and his grandchildren, Alyssa Moreno (Daniel), Orlando Canizales, Jr., Christian Canizales, Katia K Carrillo, Ruben Dominguez, Dina D. Dominguez, Emily De Los Santos, Bobbie Jo Moreno (Jesus Garza), Daniel I. Sandoval, Jr. and Faith J Sandoval.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services (1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3501 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
