He was predeceased by: his wife Hortencia Valdez Garcia; his parents, Florencio Garcia and Carmen Garcia; his sons, Florencio Garcia III and Eduardo C. Garcia; his siblings, Esperanza G. Parras, Fernando Garcia, Carmen Garcia Cervantes, Adolfo Garcia and Gilberto Garcia; and his son-in-law Vicente J. Peña III.
He is survived by: his children, Hortencia Garcia Peña, Maria Dalia Garcia and Hector Rene Garcia (Elsa); his grandchildren, Vicente, Ricardo, Iriz, Javier Peña (Gabriela), Jesus Garcia, Linda G. Martinez (Roy), David Anthony Garcia (Maricela), Gabriel A. Keene (Ana), Albert Aaron Garcia, Eduardo Garcia, Enrique Garcia (Selina), Michelle Garcia and Devin A. Garcia; and his siblings, Reynaldo and Maria Elena. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
