It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wallace Blomquist of Laredo, Texas, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Rebecca Blomquist; and his brother Robert Blomquist. He is survived by: his wife Virma Blomquist; his children, Geoffrey Blomquist, Corey Blomquist and Serena Flatt (Travis); his granddaughter Sofia Lumaye; his father Graham Blomquist; and his siblings, Mike Blomquist (Sheila) and Sandi Capra (Jack).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Gary W. Blomquist Memorial scholarship fund which will help future members of the academy grow in their career.
