She was predeceased by: her husband Ricardo Acosta; her parents, Ernesto Cenobio of Lachica and Carmela Kerchoffs; and her brothers, Roberto J. of Lachica and Ernesto L. of Lachica.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carmen of Lachica and Maria Teresa Watson; her children, Ricardo Acosta, Jr., Laura Veronica Schefferine (Evan) and Ana Cecilia Acosta-Najera (Rocio); and her sisters, Rosa Maria Martinez (Javier) and Maria Carmela. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to any of the organizations below: South Texas Food Bank (Laredo), Sacred Heart Children's Home (Laredo), and Casa Misericordia (Laredo).
