Orfila; his children, Monica York (David), Santiago Orfila (Alma) and Leopoldo Orfila; his sisters, Angela and Alicia Farias (Peter); his siblings-in-law, Laura M. Orfila, Rebecca, Rosalia Guardiola, Leopoldo and Pedro Guardiola (Estela); and his grandchildren, Joanna York-Dorey (Tim), David James York, Kayla, Kendra, Kiana, Santiago Jr., Angela, Leopoldo Jr., James and Kimberly Orfila. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
