We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 41, Jose Luis Leyva Jr. (Laredo, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Diana Leyva; and his sister Beatriz Diaz. He is survived by : his daughter Samantha Lee Leyva; his father Jose C. Rodriguez; and his sisters, Melinda Leyva, Jennifer Alonzo and San Juanita Alonzo (Wilmer Ramirez). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Laredo City Cemetery (3201 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
