Garza-Ruiz and Olivia Tess Ruiz; his stepchildren, John Michael Elizondo, Alexis Lorraine Gladden and Marcus Eugene Gladden; his stepgrandchildren, Alexander Seth Haddock and Addison Shelby Haddock; his parents, Jose Efrain Ruiz, Jr. and Otila T. Ruiz; and his siblings, Daniel Leonardo Ruiz, Priscilla Saenz (Juan Carlos), Gina Liza Bryan (Gregory) and Gabriela Frausto, Jr. (Roberto). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
