With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juan Soto (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Soto and Anita Soto; and the mother of his children Alicia "Dolly" Garcia Soto. He is survived by: his children, Dereck Dean Soto (Linda) and Juan Soto Jr. (Becky); his grandchildren, Dereck Dean Soto, Jr., Brandon Lee Soto, Allan Luther Soto, Rebecca Renee Soto and Kimberly Soto; his great grandchildren, Dereck Shakur Soto, Alizaye Rose Soto, Allan Luther Soto Jr., Kendra Gonzalez and Kendrick Gonzalez; and his siblings, Ramona Granados, Eudelia "Lele" Ortiz, Tomasa Soto, Armando Soto, Severa Duarte, Guadalupe Soto and Esperanza Allan (Gary). He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
