It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julio G. Perez Jr. (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Julio may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Julio touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

A rosary will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Laredo City Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Laredo Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
