He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa M. Carrera. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Perez (Norma), David Carrera (Amalia), Martha Canales (Alfredo), Maria D. Gomez (Roberto), Luis M. Carrera (Nora), Joanna Maldonado (Cesar) and Lariza Carrera. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Begin Departing the Funeral Home (4519 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the San Luis Rey Catholic Church (3502 Sanders Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the Laredo City Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
