She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Echeverria and Luz Rubio; her husband Abelardo Tovias; and her son Edgar Tovias. She is survived by: her daughter Diana Tobias; her grandsons, Edgar Alexis Jimenez and Sebastian Jimenez; and her siblings, Hortencia Echeverria, Juvenal Echeverria (Gumercinda) and Armando Echeverria. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
