She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Maria and Petra Peña. She is survived by: her husband Genaro Vitela; her children, Maria D. Garcia, Mayella Vitela, Max Vitela (Erika) and Jose Maria Vitela; and her brother Rosendo Peña (Juana). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A vigil service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Laredo City Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78041).
