He is survived by: his wife Juana Gutierrez; his children, Mauro Gutierrez (Elsa), Dr. Sylvia Gutierrez Carrington (Gary), Dr. Delia Gutierrez (Amando) and Javier Gutierrez; his grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca Lee Shetty (Anil), Dr. Richard Stephen Bovio (Sarah), Brittany Alexandria Geesling (James), Lindsey Yvonne Gutierrez, Mauro Nikolas Gutierrez, Lisa Victoria Gutierrez and Celine Katerina Gutierrez; his great grandchildren, Aria Amaris, Rohan Lincoln, Rani Jasmine Shetty and Everly Yvonne Geesling; his stepchildren, Jaime Paredes (Monica Marie) and Rosa Gloria Paredes; his stepgrandchildren, Azalea Viviana Chavarria and Damian Alexis Paredes; his brothers, Juan Gutierrez (Olivia), Carlos Gutierrez (Lourdes), Gregorio Gutierrez (Ambrosia) and Joaquin Amaya (Alicia); and his brother-in-law Juan Roberto Moreno. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Northside Chapel (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (2031 Lowry Rd, Laredo, TX 78045). A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
