She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Carlos Piton; her parents, Salvador Madrigal and Guadalupe Garza; and her brother Juan Madrigal. She is survived by: her children, Salvador Cortes (Erika), Jessica Cantu, Martin Carlos Piton Jr. and Vanessa J. Piton; her grandchildren, Lauro Evan Cantu, Alejandro Cantu, Salvador Emiliano Cortes, Dariana Cortes and Sebastian Cantu; her siblings, Martha B. Madrigal, Salvador Alfonso Madrigal (Gloria Sanchez), Jose Luis, Irene Madrigal Gonzalez and Teresa Madrigal; and her sister-in-law Alicia Madrigal Gonzalez. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral & Cremation Service (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (109 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
