He is survived by: his wife Julie Gonzalez Silva; his children, Ray Silva of Harlingen, Texas, Roberto Silva of Laredo, Texas and Rev. Jeanette Silva (Gustavo) of Ponce; and his siblings, Maria Olga Vargas and David Silva (Amelia). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
