It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Valdez (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel M. Valdez and Ofilia Elizondo. She is survived by: her son Luis R. Villegas Valdez (Patricia); her siblings, Cristina Valdez Prada, Felicidad Valdez Villamar and Olga O. Garcia-Cano Valdez; her friend Margarita Gonzalez; and her grandchildren, Ana Paola, Mariana Patricia and Julieta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
