He was predeceased by: his daughter Juanita Julissa Loera; his parents, Pablo and Maria; and his siblings, Antonia Loera, Benito Loera, Piedad Loera, Esperanza Loera, Aurelia Loera, Brigida Loera, Benjamin Loera, Elisea Loera and Maria.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Rios of Loera; his children, Jose Jaime Loera (Miriam), Salina Aybar (Cesar) and Rosario Alberto Loera (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Jose Jaime Loera Jr., Gabriela Loera, Miguel Guerra III, Sebastian Aybar, Celeste Aybar, Ethan Loera and Even Axel Loera; and his siblings, Erasmo Loera and Florencia Loera.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:40 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3601 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
