He was predeceased by: his sons, Ruben Rangel, Jr. and Carlos Roberto Rangel; his parents, Domingo Rangel and Guadalupe Rangel; and his siblings, Tomas Rangel and Audelia Rangel.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille C. Rangel; his children, Domingo Rene Rangel, Tomas Rogelio Rangel (Brittney Lyann), Melissa Marie Gonzalez and Priscilla Lee Treviño (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nathan Rangel, Tomas Rogelio Rangel, Jr., Adalynn Grace Rangel, Melanie Brielle Rangel, Gianna Marie Lozano, Kevin, Jr., Makayla, Kayleen Treviño and Bella Rose Torres; and his siblings, Domingo Rangel (Silvia), Yolanda Macias (Martin), Angelina Rangel and Irma Rangel (Ruben). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
