She was predeceased by: her parents, Celestino Mata and Romana G. Mata; her siblings, Delia Reina and Celestino Mata, Jr.; her husband Gilberto Rios; her children, Gilberto Rios, Jr. (Aida) and Aryana Rios Espinoza (Alfredo); and her grandchildren, Paula Isabella, Gilberto III and Francisco Andres.

She is survived by: her siblings, Rosalinda Mata-Contreras (Virgilio Soto) and Mario Mata (Diane); and her brother-in-law Robert Roland Reina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
