It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Mederos-Sanchez of Lavon, Texas, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Manuel. She is survived by: her husband Asunción; her children, Miguel, Chonito, Alejandra and Brenda; her grandchildren, Alexa Velasquez, Colton Morrissette and Valerie Velazquez; her mother Guadalupe Quiroz; and her siblings, Raúl, Blanca, Martha, Jaime, Manuel, Francisco, Mirna and Rosy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home - Lavon (2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, TX 75166). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lake View Cemetery (2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, TX 75166).
