She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo LaPerna Sr.; her parents, Charlotte Biggs Waide and Lewis J. Waide; and her siblings, Gene Terry Waide and Mona Waide Creech.

She is survived by: her children, Charlotte LaPerna Knox (John), Angelo A. LaPerna Jr., James T, Lawrence E. LaPerna and Fran LaPerna Sanders (Todd); her grandchildren, Jeremiah D. Knox, Jared M. Knox, Justin T. Knox, Elizabeth LaPerna, Catherine LaPerna, LaJuan LaPerna and Lawrence LaPerna; and her siblings, Peggy Sue Waide Ray of James, Lewis "Ricky" Waide and Roy Waide. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
