She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hilburn and Mary Louise Hilburn; her husband Alvah Glenn Franks (Dime); her children, Alvah G. Franks, Jr. and Lou Ellen Scallorn; her in-laws, Loony and Clara Franks; and her sister Mary Lou Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Sawyer; her grandchildren, Eric Sawyer (Lisa), Erin Reifel (Trevor) and Brandi Smith; and her great grandchildren, Margaret Sawyer, Vaughn Sawyer, Tabitha Reifel, Wyatt Reifel and Alison Young. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in her name be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Hearne, Texas.
