He is survived by: his father Daniel Surman,; his wife Cay Surman; his daughters, Nena Krause, Tara Booth (Cody) and Cacee Sexton (Steve); his grandchildren, Peyton Mendenhall, Tyler Hickman, Skylar Hickman, Baylee Drucker, Braeden Drucker, Haylyn Booth, Shaylee Booth, Roland Booth, Cayleigh Sexton and Michael Sexton; his parents-in-law, Pat and Marlene Milligan; and his siblings, Everett Surman (Nancy), Arlyn Surman, Daniel Surman, Jr. (Laura), Robert Surman (Debra), Margaret Fournet (Brent), Patricia Mikeska (Virgil), Char Wiginton and Chuck Milligan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the American Legion Hall – S. (1650 State Hwy 3, League City, TX 77573). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church – Annunciation Hall (1612 E Walker St, League City, TX 77573). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (7801 Gulf Fwy, Dickinson, TX 77539).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Legion Hall – S. Mike Lacy Post 554 to support their building expansion project – "Hybrid Smoking Project.".
