He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bauer and Nona Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Blanca Treviño Bauer; his children, Natalie and Charles Bauer; his siblings, Theresa Hampton (Gary) of College Station, Greg Bauer (Shirley) of Harlingen and Troy Bauer (JoBeth) of Kerrville; his mother-in-law Maria Inez Treviño of Harlingen; his brother-in-law Jorge Treviño of Austin; his aunt Shirley; his friend Melissa; Debbie Cochran (Les) of San Antonio, Jessica Hruska (Tim) and Jake Daniell (Nikki). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (602 Morgan Blvd, Harlingen, TX 78550). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grimes Funeral Home (728 Jefferson St, Kerrville, TX 78028). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Verde Cemetery.
