With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Melvin Rowan (Leakey, Texas), who passed away on September 26, 2019 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Melvin Rowan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John B. Rowan Sr. and Mildred Naomi Silvers Rowan; and his siblings, Virginia Rae Brooks, Gordon Ivy Lee Rowan and Oscar Calvin Rowan.

He is survived by : his brother Charlie Wesley Rowan of Ingram; and his son Justin Wayne Rowan of Monahans. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hill Country Youth Ranch, Ingram.
