It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velia Addison of Leakey, Texas, born in Anahuac, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raul Flores and Esperanza Flores; her grandson Ricardo A. Ramirez; her brothers, Raul, Felipe, Jorge and Tomas Flores; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Addison, Alfonso Gonzalez, Anita Knapp and Paula Addison.
She is survived by : her husband Tom; her grandchildren, Christina Ramirez-Rosales (Jerome), Denise Elizondo, Enrique Elizondo and Jacqueline F. Addison; her siblings, Delia Magdalena Gonzalez, Rolando Antonio, Eduardo (Yolanda) and Fernando (Margarita); and her siblings-in-law, Emmett L. Addison, Cristina, MaEthel, Barbara Johnson and Anne. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
