He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Oppermann and Betty Joyce Oppermann (Schultz); his stepfather Douglas Wood; and his stepson Colby Walthers. He is survived by: his brothers, Clinton (Marjorie Oppermann) of Dime Box and Marty (Janice Wood) of Dime Box; his nephews, Garrett (Kayla Oppermann) and William Taylor Wood; his niece Morgan (Author Easterling); his great-nephews, Holden Oppermann, Hayden Oppermann and Hadley Oppermann; his great-niece Holt Oppermann; his stepchildren, Sabian (Stacy Walther), Kasey (Tiffany Walther) and Shaunna (Whitney Keilberg); and his close friends, Joun Tumlinson and Penney Lehmann.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ledbetter Cemetery (600 Prospect Rd, Ledbetter, TX 78946).
Memorials may be made to St. John Cemetery in Dime Box or the charity of ones choice.
