As we bid adieu to Anita's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Anita has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. L. Shipman and Opal Shipman; her husband Wayne West; and her daughter Shonna West. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Mills and Leroy West (Heather); her grandchildren, Danny Lee, TyLanna Lee, Skyla Maddox and Zach West; and her great grandchildren, Parker and Charlotte Maddox.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (301 Cherry St, Levelland, TX 79336).
