With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nita Joan Lewis of Levelland, Texas, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nita Joan Lewis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, D. Burrus Allison and Ethel Mae Allison; her son Tommy Lee; her husband Lee Marshall Lewis; and her siblings, Hershel Burrus, Charlie Faye Riley, Lou Emma Edwards, Almos Monroe, Omey Monroe, Tom Burrus and Juanita Polk.

She is survived by : her daughter Vicki Clayton of Levelland, TX; her daughter-in-law Charlene Lewis of Blanco, TX; and her grandchildren, Michelle Cooper (Casey) of Santo, TX, Jacy Lewis (Jim Kamas) of Blanco, TX and Kidron Lewis. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Krestridge Funeral Home (505 Austin St, Levelland, TX 79336). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Whitharral Cemetery.
