She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Emmit and Ruth Louise Smith; her sister Sara Louise Minette; her son Jeffrey Alcorn; her husband Donald H. Hitzhusen; her son-in-law John W. Tyler, Jr.; her niece Nancy Minette; and her brother-in-law Michael Minette (Mick).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Alcorn (Joyce) of Coppell, TX and Paula Tyler of Lewisville, TX; her grandchildren, Erin Alcorn O'Donnell (Daniel) and Colin Alcorn; her nephew John Minette (Salina); her great-nieces, Sarah Battaleme and Jessica Aguilar; her great-nephew Samuel Minette; her niece Mary Minette (Anthony Ladogana); her nephew Ted Minette (Kelly); her great-nephew Max; her great-niece Kate; her niece Jennifer Fore (Chris); her great-nephew Spencer; her great-nieces, Madeline and Rosemary; her cousin Teresa Nolte-Pinkert; and also Santino.
The family requests that any memorials be made in her honor to the Lime Creek Nature Center or the Rockwell Library.
