We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2025, at the age of 96, Elizabeth Catherine Shost-Ellis (Lewisville, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father George Sandman; her husband Stanley Peter Shost; her siblings, Mary, Alice, Shirley, George and Robert; her son Stanley Jr.; and her great grandchild Ethan.
She is survived by: her mother Pauline Sandman; her children, Diana Rennie (Tim), Michael Shost (Marcia), Susan Norton (Jim), Samuel Shost (Nancy) and Carlton Ellis (Marian); and her grandchildren, Christine Mikrut (Eddie), Tom Rennie (Michelle), Kelly Penz, Michael Shost (Pam), Sonny Shost, Sandy Shost, Steven Shost (Nicole), Matt Shost (Rachael), Jim Norton (Stephanie), John Norton, Joe Norton (Maggie) and Emie Ellis. She is also survived by her brother.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church (602 N. Old Orchard, Lewisville, Texas 75077). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Copeland's Coraopolis (867 5th Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108, USA). A committal service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
