We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2025, at the age of 67, Sernita Karen Manuel of Lewisville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Manuel and Shirley Manuel Jr.; her son Joshua Ka'Shin Parker; and her siblings, Lorraine, Eddie III and Kris Manuel.
She is survived by: her children, Elisha Parker III, Antoine Parker and Talanisha Lewis; her grandchildren, Elisha Parker IV, Elisa Parker, Emani Parker, Ka'Shin Parker, Star Parker and Lawrence Lewis II; her significant other Allen Como; and her siblings, Janelle, Debra, Synda, Edith, Romalis, Troy, Letetia, Trudy and LaVergne. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christian Baptist Church (2442 Mazant St, New Orleans, LA 70117). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
