She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Lorene Tolbert (Long) and Lee Tolbert; her husband Lawrence Harold Whinery, Sr.; her daughter Michelle Anne Benjamin; her sister Nora Lee Beasley; and her brother-in-law Clifford Beasley.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Kilburn (Robert), Sheila Wilson (Gary), Lawrence "Bubba" Whinery and Brad Young (Maranda); her son-in-law Bill Benjamin; and her grandchildren, Michelle Renee, Laura (Alex), Eric, Russell, Danielle, Brandon (Summer), Brett (Lindsey), Amber (Eric), J. J., Elizabeth, Prarrie (Dalton), Collin, Jonathan, Brenden, Chris (Shannon), Amy (Mike), Amanda and Cade. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews other extended family members and friends.
