He was predeceased by : his mother Edwina Arabie; his wife Joan Garrett Arabie; his siblings, Jimmy Arabie Sr., Rose Arabie Parker, Olive Arabie Sanchez, Doris Arabie Derryberry and Patty Ann Arabie Norris; and his son Dallas Ray "Sonny" Arabie Jr..

He is survived by : his brother Edwin Arabie Jr.; and his sons, Gary Arabie (Melinda) and Keith Arabie (Samantha). He is also survived by his many grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; his nieces; and his nephews.
