It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Jean Mitchell of Liberty, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Mitchell; her sister Dannette Watson; and her parents, Beverly Colston and Aubrey Colston. She is survived by: her children, Jaidin Mitchell, Jazmine Mitchell, Justin Elder (Felicia) and Jordan Mitchell; her boyfriend Allen Jones; her siblings, Susie Corley, Kathy Moyer, Rene Nonenmacher, Doug Zellner (Gina) and Daniel Colston (Sarah); and her granddaughter Savanah Elder. She is also survived by one grandchild on the way; and 38 nieces and 32 nephews.
