He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Garcia Rivera and Maria Eufrocina Arellano Padilla; his daughters, Marcelina and Preciliano (Margarito); and his grandchildren, Jesus Garcia and Melba Castro.

He is survived by : his wife Maria Guadalupe Reyes Coronado; and his children, Yolanda Hernandez (Mauro), Refugio Garcia, Valentina Garcia, Felipe Garcia (Elena), Donaciano Garcia (Angela), Juan Garcia (Dana) and Clemente Garcia. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Allison Funeral Service (1101 N Travis St, Liberty, TX 77575). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (411 Milam St, Liberty, TX 77575).
