He was predeceased by: his parents, William Douglas Hamm, Sr. and Patricia Jackson Hamm; and his grandson Jackson Hamm. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hamm; his children, William "Trey" Hamm (Kimberly) and Jennifer Scheffler (Joey); his sister Leslie Parker; his grandchildren, Joei Scheffler, Carson Williams, Callie Scheffler, Kase Scheffler, Jake Scheffler, Emma Pasho and Lila Hamm; and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Delores Cunningham.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardin Methodist Church (1005 FM 834, Liberty, TX 77575). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hardin Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Hardin Methodist Church in honor of William Douglas "Billy" Hamm Jr.
