Louis T. Miles Obituary

Funeral services for Louis T. Miles, age 82 of Lindale, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler, Texas.

Louis passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Tyler. He was born April 25, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Vurtie and Mary Louise (Holloway) Miles. Louis has lived in Lindale since 2005 and was previously of Manteca, California. He served his country in the Unites States Air Force and later retired after 23 years with the Postal Service. Louis was a proud member of the National Rifle Association, was a HAM radio operator, and enjoyed woodworking, birdwatching, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Miles in 2014 and brother, Thomas Young.

Louis is survived by his daughters, Brenda Boreman and husband, Michael of Lindale and Teresa Morrow of Jasper, Minnesota; brother, Samuel Young and wife, Patricia of Stockton, California; grandchildren, Andrew Miles, Ryan Miles and wife, Aly, and Madison Morrow; great grandchildren, Eden Miles, Rhett Miles, Lincoln Miles, and Paisley Miles; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
