He was predeceased by: his parents, Autry Virgil Emmons and Marie Richardson Emmons; and his son Daniel James Emmons. He is survived by: his wife Susan Emmons; his children, Timothy Emmons (Ashley) and Mary Pettit (Adam); his grandsons, Ethan Henson, Ronnie Emmons, Camden Emmons, Griffin Pettit, Austin Pettit and Mitchell Pettit; and his siblings, Paul Emmons, Renea Emmons, Abby Johnson, Terri Morrison and Patricia Floyd.
