It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Corneila Scholz of Linden, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Vincent Leago and Erma Lee Leago; her husband Lawrence Scholz of Linden; her daughters, Dora Givens (Tom) of Karnack, Cornella Beal (Steven) of Germany and Cinnamon Scholz of Hughes Springs; and her grandchildren, Candice Treat of Pittsburg, Shanne Baker of Lone Star, Drake Ryan of Lone Star, Logan Bynum of Houston and Colton Bynum of Hughes Springs. She was also cherished by numerous great grandchildren.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to: Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1305 Bert St., Daingerfield, Texas 75638.
