He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Snowdy Massey; his sister Edith Massey; his nephew Mark Thorp; his siblings, Patricia Thorp Higgins and Rick Massey; and his sister-in-law Jo Marie Massey.

He is survived by: his nieces, Cassandra Dunlap, Beth Thorp and Amy Walters; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey Valeu, Savannah Valeu, Stormy McDaniel, Kaylee Walters, Justin Dunlap, Gunner Valeu, Ashton McDaniel and Atlas McDaniel; and his brothers, John Massey and Russell Waller. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
