He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Earl Trainham; and his father-in-law James Mac Parks. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Peeler Trainham of Weatherford; his wife Susan Trainham of Lingleville; his daughters, Courtney McGuire (Brian) of Stephenville, Lindsey Gillespie of Stephenville and Megan Trainham of Cleburne; his granddaughters, Evelyn Gillespie, Lillian McGuire and Elise McGuire; his sister Phyllis Peel (Kelly) of Weatherford; his nieces, Taylor Merrill (John) of Weatherford and Regan Peel of Denton; and his mother-in-law Merle Jo Parks of Stephenville.
