She was predeceased by: her parent Jessie Sewell. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Roosevelt DeShazer Sr. (Fern), Gwendolyn Lee (William) and Toma King Sr. (Michelle); and her siblings, Dennis King (Margaret), Leatha King, Lloyd King (Dolly), Carolyn Spencer (Charles), Kathy Chadwick (Rodney), Kenny King (Terry), Debra Freeman (Camero) and Canolia Carey (Curtis). She is also survived by 3 siblings.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church (2727 E 25th St N, Wichita, KS 67219).
