She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Read and Evelyn Read; and her son Michael Clair. She is survived by: her daughter April Clair Hadnot (Monte) of Little Elm; her brother John Read (Fran) of Panama City; her grandson Michael Hadnot; and her niece Vivian Richards (Danny).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel (1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (S 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536).
