He was predeceased by: his wife Christine G. Martinez; his son Jesus Martinez, Jr.; and his parents, Maria Luevano Rodriguez and Marcelino Martinez. He is survived by: his children, Gregorio Martinez (Sylvia), Christina Jane Martinez, Richard Martinez and Elizabeth Martinez of Little Elm, Texas.; his grandchildren, Mathew Sean Martinez and Isabella Maria Pace; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Ava and Mathew Martinez, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church (2525 Westview Dr, Abilene, TX 79603). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetary (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
