Carmelita (Solesbee) Mills Obituary
Carmelita Solesbee Mills passed away from this life on December 17th, 2023, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Carmelita was born in Littlefield, Texas to Charles Carmel and Carrie “Oats” Solesbee on March 21st 19xx. She married Bob Mills on December 6, 1950.
Carmelita worked for the Spade school district for many years, and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Littlefield, Texas.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles Carmel and Carrie Leota Solesbee, a brother, James Solesbee, and husband, Bob Mills. She is survived by a brother, Bob Solesbee and Wife Faye of Fredericksburg, Texas, her children Ricky Lee Mills of Spade, Texas, Mickey Joe Mills of Littlefield, Texas, Bennie Kay Davis and husband Curtis Of Rowlett, Texas, Charles Carmel “Chuck” Mills and wife Staja Of Kingsland, Texas, Vicki Sue Stout and husband Clay Of Lubbock, Texas, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Carmelita was really something special. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed.
Under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home, graveside services will be held on December 20th, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Littlefield Cemetery with visitation from 10am- 12pm at First Baptist Church Chapel in Littlefield, Texas.
