He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Thompson and Johnnye Thompson (Ebner); his sister Laura Martin; and his nephews, Jason Thompson and Billy Gibbons.
He is survived by : his siblings, Jacquelyn Thompson of Onalaska, Texas, Terry Thompson (Jeannie), Richard Thompson (Bobbi), Ralph Thompson (Sally), John Thompson (Paulette), Jack Thompson of Houston and Lyndal Harrison of Houston, Texas; and his pets, Hopper, Torch, Oliver and Fannie Mae. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews.
